Authentically You 2 Muhammad Ali

Thank you for your contribution and touching my life

I honor you!

Muhammed 1

As we celebrate the life of Muhammad Ali and remember him in his transition it is easy to both acknowledge his contributions to the world, the change they encouraged in so many, and admire his bold undeniable authenticity.

Muhammad Ali was:

  • Unapologetically courageousMuhammed 2
  • Keenly aware of his strengths and weaknesses
  • Genuine and sincere in his interactions with people
  • Redefined the sport of boxing
  • Compassionately concerned about others
  • Certain of his gifts and abilities
  • Fearlessly honest
  • Unwavering in his convictions

Muhammad Ali’s commitment to self-respect, self-love, and knowledge of self  brought wonderful change to the world.

Many possibilities await us and  the world who are willing to do the same.

The song The Greatest Love of All was part of the score in the movie The Greatest released in 1977 about Muhammad Ali’s life. For many years the words have brought me much encouragement and inspiration.

Be encouraged,

Dr. Free

I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone’s shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I’ll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can’t take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
