Why Love Africa?

“…You can’t hate the roots of a tree and not hate the tree. You can’t hate your origin and not end up hating yourself. You can’t hate Africa and not hate yourself…”

–Malcolm X

My Authentic Truth:

I dedicate my life’s work to all of my ancestors, whose fervent spirit, love for freedom and rich history has left an amazing legacy for me of which I am extremely proud. Their insatiable thirst for more despite challenges, sufferings, and cruelties unthinkable have made my success possible. I carry them with me for they are the roots and I am the tree.

My ancestors have prepared me and stand with me in this moment. Their laborious wanderings and tenacious desire to survive and thrive has been advantageous for my success.

I am truly thankful for every tear shed in hope for my peace, and the agonizing sacrifices made for my abundance. Because my ancestors dared to selflessly endure, I live dreams they never even conceived. For this, I am grateful.©

I love Africa! I love me!
