Intellect vs Intuition

man_thinking_original_10936-603x377Everyone has intuition but not everyone follows it. Some call intuition a hunch. Christian religion often calls intuition the Holy Spirit–believing that the guidance so wonderful had to come from outside of themselves rather than from within. Sometimes after an intuitive prompting one may respond, “I knew I should’ve done this” or “Something told me not to go….or stay”. Maybe you heard some say, “I should have followed my first mind” Could it be intuition that was being referred too? I think so.  The knowing in our gut is our intuition. Intuition is like a muscle, the more we use it– the stronger our ability to use it gets. We are born free and fully equipped to be successful in this Earth realm. Intuition is a key to that success. Intuition is the gateway to a whole world of enlightenment, understanding, creativity, and awareness beyond the five senses. Additionally, it helps you and me to reach and connect for “other world” experiences.

My Authentic Thought:

Our intellect has its place. Analytical people like myself will think ourselves into ou out of a situation. I must always remember (and I hope you do too) that intellect should always takes a back seat to intuition. Our intellect has a way of rationalizing desire and wants. On the other hand, our intuition provides guidance and certainty in undeniable ways that requires NO explanation.  Experience new level living with your intuition. Let’s go higher.

Peace and love,
